The Crux of Jyotish

The Video Game Analogy
You know how in video games, characters have missions to complete, and their actions affect future gameplay? Some level up, while others need to repeat missions to gain more points. The ancient Vedic texts describe karma in a surprisingly similar way.
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna states that karma is so complex that human beings cannot fully comprehend it. This ancient text was written during the Kali Yuga, a time of illusion when human consciousness was at its lowest. Understanding karma from that perspective was difficult.
Now, as we enter a 1,200-year transition from Kali Yuga to Satya Yuga (known as the Age of Aquarius in the West), human consciousness is expanding.
But what did Krishna really mean when he said:
"Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma phaleshu kadachana"(Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 47)
This translates to:"You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action."
A single-celled organism has the right to exist but cannot control the outcome of its existence.
Let’s unpack this further by going back in time—all the way to the Big Bang.
Why Do We Study the Universe?
We study the universe to understand why humanity exists the way it does. Where did we come from? Where are we headed? Most importantly—who are we?
If we are made of the same materials as the Big Bang, why do human beings experience consequences while a rock remains static? Why do we act at all? Who drives these actions? Do we have free will? If God exists, why is life filled with challenges?
The Four Types of Karma
The Rig Veda and Upanishads describe four types of karma. Instead of treating them as abstract concepts, think of them as mechanics in a cosmic video game:
Sanchita Karma – A database of all past actions stored in the cosmic cloud (akin to quantum fields or the Akashic Records). These experiences are released gradually, depending on the soul's evolution.
Prarabdha Karma – Your active mission log in this lifetime. A birth chart in Vedic astrology is essentially a map of your active karma, just like a video game quest log.
Kriyamana Karma – The karma you are actively creating right now through free will, shaping future experiences.
Agami Karma – Future karma accumulated through current actions. This is the "coming soon" content in your cosmic storyline, determining future lifetimes.
"The distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." — Albert Einstein
The Science of Karma & Consciousness
So how does karma actually manifest?
This is where human consciousness differs from a rock—through memory and emotion.
Our thoughts move incredibly fast. In quantum physics, entanglement shows that particles can be instantly connected across vast distances. Einstein called this "spooky action at a distance" because it seemed to violate relativity. Later experiments confirmed entanglement is real.
When a thought arises, it entangles with particles around it. Our endocrine system releases hormones, creating emotions that drive action. This is how we animate—why we make decisions, care for loved ones, or pursue dreams.
But who generates these thoughts? Are we mere receivers, picking up signals from the quantum field, or creators of our reality?
Our DNA memory holds karmic imprints, much like dark matter stores hidden cosmic information. 98% of our DNA is dormant, just like 94% of space is dark matter. Yet nothing in the universe is wasted.
Accomplished yogis can activate dormant DNA through mastering their nervous systems, breaking free from earthly magnetism. This is enlightenment—where darkness is no longer unknown, and all cosmic memories return to your consciousness.
Karma or Action = Thought + Emotion. And so, sitting in meditation forever would mean existing, but not living.
The Multiverse & Time Loops
Time is an illusion.
Quantum physics suggests multiple timelines exist simultaneously. Vedic texts describe different Yugas with varying speeds of time, similar to how computer simulations alter processing speeds.
According to the Vishnu Purana, the universe operates on a massive computational cycle.
Your soul plays out different versions of your story in parallel realities, where you could be both the oppressor and the oppressed.
"The total number of minds in the universe is one. Consciousness is a singularity phasing within all beings." — Erwin Schrödinger
Sages Were Astrologers
Imagine Sagittarius A, the black hole at the center of our Milky Way, as a cosmic projector. Scientists now theorize that black holes do not just pull things in but also project information outward.
Just like a movie projector, they could be creating reality itself.
The Zodiac Wheel isn't just a symbolic circle; it's a celestial code mapping planetary orbits through the Golden Ratio.
And you are a coordinate in space-time.
Your birth chart is not random; it is an algorithmic pattern in the cosmic game. The position of the Moon, Rahu, and Ketu locks the simulation in place. When planetary orbits align with your karmic blueprint, events manifest in space-time.
This is the precision of Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), also known as the Science of the Light. It is believed that all Sages were first astrologers. Their logical mind gave way to their intuition. This is how Jyotish works. Once you start learning it, it rewires your nervous system for expansion on an unprecedented scale.
And yet, no matter how deep your karma goes, your free will matters—because the simulation is designed to keep evolving.
Ancient astronomers tracked planets with incredible accuracy without telescopes. The Surya Siddhanta holds secrets modern science is only beginning to understand.
When you look at your birth chart, you’re not just seeing planets—you are seeing your avatar’s unique code in this vast cosmic simulation we all call life.
