Nature of Service

1.1 All readings, consultations, and deliverables provided by Sophia Astrology are offered strictly for spiritual development, self-reflection, and personal insight. They are not a substitute for financial, legal, medical, or psychological advice.

1.2 Astrology interprets planetary patterns and energetic cycles. It does not predict outcomes with certainty. Any strategic timing, guidance on relationships, career, litigation, health, or financial matters discussed during sessions represents astrological interpretation only, and must not be treated as a directive or professional recommendation in those fields.

1.3 Clients are solely responsible for all decisions made during and after sessions, including but not limited to: financial decisions, communications with third parties, legal filings, health-related actions, and relationship choices. Sophia Astrology bears no liability for the consequences of any action taken or not taken based on information shared in a reading.

1.4 Clients are expected to ensure a private, undisturbed space for the session to allow for clear delivery and full receptivity.

1.5 Clients are responsible for providing accurate birth details (date, time, and location) prior to the session. Significant preparation goes into each reading. If birth details are found to be inaccurate, the session will need to be rescheduled at no additional cost, however a refund cannot be offered for the original session.

1.6 Astrology is not a shortcut to magical solutions. Certain placements are tied to the client's birth chart and cannot be altered. Sophia offers guidance on navigating challenging placements through strengths identified in the chart, and encourages self-development over quick fixes.

1.7 The following topics are not discussed in sessions: timing or cause of death, gender of unborn children, political matters, gemstone recommendations, and readings for third parties without their consent or attendance.

Recurring Arrangements (If Any)

2.1 The agreed sessions per month on a recurring basis is a courtesy arrangement, not a binding contract. Neither party is locked into this arrangement for any fixed term.

2.2 Either party may modify, pause, or end the recurring schedule at any time, for any reason, without penalty or obligation to explain. However, a refund cannot be offered for sessions already scheduled to honour the time and effort invested in its development. 

2.3 Sophia Astrology may hold recurring appointment slots (if previously agreed upon, and for the duration agreed upon) as a scheduling courtesy on mutual goodwill. Holding a slot does not create a contractual obligation for either party to honour future sessions. A held slot is a reservation, not a commitment.

2.4 Held slots are released at Sophia's discretion if payment terms (see Section 3) are not met, or if either party ends the arrangement.

Payment Terms

3.1 For recurring agreements only; an invoice will be sent via PayLink prior to each scheduled session by email. Payment must be received 24 hours before the session takes place.

If payment is not received 24 hours prior to session start time, the slot may be released to another client. This ensures fair access for all clients seeking timely guidance.

3.2 Session fees are non-refundable once a session has been booked. This includes sessions booked for recordings/written reports, etc. when the client is unable to attend live.

3.3 If a client needs to reschedule, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. 

3.4 If internet issues interrupt the session, it may be completed on another day/time of the client's choice at no extra cost. However, a refund is not offered.

3.5 Sophia Astrology reserves the right to update pricing at any time. Any changes will be communicated in advance (for recurring appointments only) and will not affect sessions already paid for.

Scope of Responsibility

4.1 Sophia Astrology provides astrological interpretation in good faith, drawing on Vedic, Jaimini, Bhrigu, divisional chart analysis, and supplementary frameworks including Galactic Astrology and Quantum Soul Guidance methodology. The quality and depth of this work is guaranteed. However, the outcomes of applying this information cannot be guaranteed. 

4.2 Readings may reference sensitive life areas including finances, health, litigation, and relationships. These references are offered as astrological context and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for decision-making in any of these areas. Clients are strongly encouraged to seek independent professional advice (financial advisors, legal counsel, medical practitioners, therapists, etc) alongside astrological guidance.

4.3 Sophia Astrology is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use or interpretation of information provided during sessions, in written deliverables, or in any recorded material.

4.4 The client acknowledges that astrology operates within the realm of spiritual and philosophical inquiry, and that no guarantees of specific outcomes — financial, relational, legal, or otherwise — are made or implied at any point during the consulting relationship.

Sophia may interpret the chart based on the strongest probability from permutations and combinations she finds, and communicate the most-likely outcome to the client. This is still a spiritual analysis and subject to interpretation.

Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

5.1 All session recordings remain the property of Sophia Astrology and may not be shared publicly, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.

5.2 Please only book a session knowing that ALL sessions WILL be recorded for quality assurance, professional conduct and the protection of both parties. 

5.3 Written deliverables (reading reports, analysis documents, emails containing chart interpretations) are prepared exclusively for the named client and may not be shared with, forwarded to, or used by third parties without prior written consent from Sophia Astrology.

5.4 The methodologies, frameworks, and proprietary systems used by Sophia Astrology — including but not limited to the Quantum Soul Guidance framework and Sophia’s Vedic teachings, not limited to techniques developed as a result of Sophia’s own practice from documented patterns in readings — are the intellectual property of Sophia Astrology and may not be reproduced, taught, or commercially repurposed without written agreement.

5.5 All personal information shared by the client remains strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the client's express consent, except where required by law.

Communication

6.1 Communication between sessions (via email or messaging) is offered as a professional courtesy and is not a substitute for a booked session. Sophia Astrology is not obligated to respond to between-session queries within any specific time frame, unless previously agreed upon.

6.2 Urgent matters requiring immediate attention should be directed to the appropriate licensed professional (financial, legal, medical, psychological, etc) rather than to Sophia Astrology.

Mutual Respect and Right to Decline

7.1 Both parties agree to engage with mutual respect and professionalism throughout the consulting relationship.

7.2 Sophia Astrology reserves the right to decline or discontinue any reading or consulting arrangement at any time, without obligation to explain the reason. In such cases, any prepaid and undelivered session fees will be refunded in full.

7.3 The client may discontinue the consulting arrangement at any time without penalty.

​7.4 Both parties agree not to publicly misrepresent, or share session content on any platform including social media, review sites, and online communities. Concerns should be raised directly with Sophia Astrology. Public posts containing false or misleading statements may be reported to the relevant platform, and escalated to relevant authorities (if required). 

Acceptance

8.1 By confirming your next appointment or making payment for any session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

8.2 These terms supersede any prior verbal or written agreements or policies, and operate to ensure both parties are protected in the event of any service-related disputes. 

8.3 Sophia Astrology may update these terms from time to time. Clients MUST agree to the terms and conditions in the booking form prior to payment online.
